Hannah had WAY to much pumpkin pie!

Easter Sunday was a busy day for us. I got up early to make the stuffing for Nick's bird, Nick called his Grandma to double check on how long to cook our 17lb monster turkey, I made breakfast (Timbits), Nick called his Grandma again and eventually the bird made it into the oven. We had the Buteaus and Kenn over for dinner which turned out fantastic (thanks to the telephone assistance from Nick's Grandma the turkey was a big hit). I made some pumpkin pies, a carrot cake and of course some butter tarts for desert.
After dinner we took some family photos. The Buteaus like to think they are this picture perfect, serene family....I have the proof that they are not all what they're cracked up to be!! LOL

Saylor was so poofed after watching the boys frantically look for their easter eggs she went for a little nap.

Lucas got a tennis racket and a new bat for Easter.

Lucas and Carter had a nice nutritious breakfast Easter Sunday.

On Saturday afternoon we went to the Easter party at Place Mallairdville. There were crafts, egg hunts, egg races and prizes. Nick and I both took our heats in the adult only egg race, Nick won some movie passes and I won a gift certificate for some dinner. Unfortunately Nick and Lucas did not defend their spoon/egg race this year, Nick should have worn his cleats!!

On Friday morning we packed up kids and Natalie to go to our first Glenayre Egg Hunt.

Lucas found tons of eggs!

The kids had a great time at the Glenayre Easter Egg Hunt. I think it'll become a new tradition!

Carter was a little picky with the eggs he found, if they weren't the right color he would leave it on the ground.

Carter had his Easter Party at Pre-school last Thursday. The kids all made salads and ate cupcakes. At the end there was a candy hunt.
