Nat Bailey Tournament
September 2008
The Green Jays played the Nat tournament this year, our first game was Thursday night so we got to play under the lights which was very cool!! We went 3-o going into Sunday's games. We played and won the first game at the Nat but were defeated in the afternoon.

Nick in action...

Derek - doesn't look "baseball ready"!!

Nick and bat

Derek at bat - or should I say bunt?? That ball looks like it got turfed!

Now Lisa looks "baseball ready", Avery would be so proud!
September 19th Pro-D Day
The kids had their first pro-d day at school so we packed up and headed to Kitsilano to visit the Kaisers. Heidi and the boys showed us around Jerhico Beach (which is only a 15 minute walk from their place). We spent 5 hours exploring the beach, picking blackberries, chasing rabbits and we had lunch at the sailing club.

The boys found fake palm trees at the beach.

Saylor loves the sand!!

Lincoln and I

The kids came across this cool tree knot which they climbed and jumped off of.

This angle of picture makes the tree look a little phallic.

Saylor and Heidi picking blackberries!

I couldn't pick the berries fast enough for Saylor!

She ate so many her tongue turned purple!

There were so many wild rabbits running around the blackberry bushes the kids actually caught one! It was so docile that we thought it might be dead, but it wasn't!

Once the kids were done mauling the bunny we headed back to the beach where Lucas was burried!
