Fathers Day 2007
The kids and I made a huge breakfast for Nick to enjoy in bed. The kids made him a fruit smoothie of their own recipe...it turned out to be pretty good! After breakfast Nick got to open his gifts the kids made him at school. Carter made Nick a card and an air freshner, Lucas mad his a card as well and a stepping stone. Nick and the kids went swimming in the afternoon and then we had the Buteaus over for a Father's Day dinner. Saylor and I gave Nick a water backpack and some new biking clothes so he can ride to work in style.

Daisies 2006-2007

It was the Raging Daisies year wind up party on June 16th out in the boonies...I mean t-town. Nick and i brought the wii so we could have a rematch in tennis. Again, there was way too much food and drinks, and I think I should be banned from bringing my camera to the next party. The only one missing was Diablo!! LOL

Saylor can now climb up to the top bunk in the buys room, what she discovered was Lucas' secret drawer. This is where Lucas stores all of his candies. Saylor got into some hershey kisses, a sucker and some other unidentifiable sweets. This is her showing me where they went when I asked her what happened to all the candies....

This is Saylor showing me where all the chocolate dripped from her mouth on to her sweater. There were alot of drips!!

Saylor wasn't too happy when I had to take away the chocolate and the sucker, and then to top it all of she had to have her face washed. NOT GOOD!

Carter had his pre-school graduation a couple weeks ago. They got to wear the caps and sing a few songs they had learned throughout the year. Carter presented me with a flower to say thanks for helping him get through pre-school. Once the kids were given their diplomas and the plates they made we all got to enjoy some drinks and cake.
I am having a harder time accepting that Carter will be off to kindergarten in the fall than I was with Lucas, maybe it's because Carter still seems so young and even though he's very much ready to start school, to me it just means my little guy won't have as much training in the kitchen to become my little chef.

FUN DAY 2007
Glenayre Pre-School

Carter had Fun Day during the last week of pre-school. There was a bike parade, face painting and then the kids were divided into teams and they did different activities. Like, a sack race, bean bag toss, water relay and the marshmallow show down. Saylor even got in on some of the activities. Then there was a picnic lunch for the whole family.
