I looked after Avery and Evan last Thursday and Friday. The kids had fun playing outside, enjoying some of the brief sunshine. Saylor is still working on how to be "nice" to Evan instead of doing her take downs and pulling Evan to the ground.

Nick and I played in our Ice Breaker tournament this weekend for the Green Jays. We ended up going right to the final but they called the game due to the weather. We would have kicked their butts!

18 Months
Saylor is such a busy little girl lately. She is trying to potty train herself right now, so far she can put the seat on the potty, get on the potty, try to push something out (of course nothing ever comes out), she wipes, flushes and washes her hands. She just needs to work on the performance part and she'll be good to go!

Lucas wakes up to do his Birthday Scavenger Hunt.
He needed a little help from Carter for a couple clues but overall he did it pretty quickly. He was a little worried when I told him this year the clues would have words on them and not just pictures.

May 2nd 2007
Lucas is 7 years old today so we celebrated by going to his choice of restaurant...East Side Mario's. So he could spin the Wheel of Wow after dinner. He won a $5 gift certificate!!

Kuefler Kids
A rare photo of all three kids together, smiling and looking almost at the camera!

Carter and Saylor

Carter's pre-school class went on a field trip to the fire hall last week. They started their tour off by watching a video (you know the Jimney Cricket one we all watched as kids), then the fireman showed them all of his equipment that he wears to fight fires, they got to go sit in the fire truck and check out all the cool stuff inside, then they got to take turns using the giant hose. At the end they went through a mock house and they had to use their new found knowledge and get out of the house safely.

Carter got to check out all the gadgets in the fire truck!

Carter is a fireman in training!

First Annual Ladies Only Spa Retreat
Kingfisher, Comox BC
April 20-22
The trip started out with Marlee hitting on the breakfast server on the ferry ride over to the island, he's probably still trying to picture her in her bikini! LOL
Nessa and I arrived at Kingfisher a little Jager Bombed but ready to hit the spa!
The hydropath was the most amazing experience I have ever had without Nick...the bubble chair was pretty stimulating!
Between the 12 of us, we enjoyed facials, pedicures, massages with and without hot stones, yoga and pilates classes, and some very delicious food. Our compliments to our in house chef, Wendy for preparing a pretty damn good meal only using a hot plate and a few utensils! Cheers Wendy!
It was great to meet a few new faces and see some that I don't usually get to see that often! I had a fantastic time and can't wait to see what's in store for next year...maybe we'll convince Sarah to get the tattoo!!

Just put on our robes and on our way to the Hydropath.

We took a little walk around the water, it was such a beautiful view and a great place to take a few pictures.

Sarah and I preparing for our Restorative Yoga class.

Just finished up in the spa and thought we'd snap a few shots while we were in our robes.
