I painted Saylor's nails this morning! She loves being a girlie-girl!

33 Weeks
I woke up on Sunday morning and went to the bathroom and lost my mucus plug (it sounds so wrong to write those words - but it's for the benefit of the story). So I quickly made a phone call to my on call nurse - Bobbi - and she suggested we call the hospital. We called and they wanted me to come in to assess me and make sure baby wasn't coming. After 45 minutes on the monitor and Doogie Howser MD examined me - all they could say was I wasn't going to have the baby today. Then Dr. Shaw prescribed Nick and I to go out for lunch since our kids were being well taken care of (thanks Buteau's). I took it easy for the rest of the day and I am trying to "slow down" for the next couple weeks.

Say-Say hamming it up infront of the camera.
Last Saturday - the first day it's actually felt like spring here, I took the kids to Old Orchard Park to meet up with the Larmours. The kids played at the park for a while, Carter and Avery went for a quick bike ride, Lucas and I played catch then we headed down to the beach!
After a couple hours of just playing in the sand, Derek comes up with the brilliant plan to take the kids on a little adventure to "ROCK ISLAND", more like mud island!!!

Derek and Evan were the only ones to make it
to MUD ISLAND.

My little princess in the mud.

Carter looks so calm in these photos - I just had to capture the moment!

Lady bug, Lady bug, fly away home.....

I couldn't help but notice Evan's toes looked better manicured than my own.

The kids all made sand castles, Lucas made his with several bridges and moats!

Saylor had a great time at the beach, she collected sea shells (the ones Lucas had already collected and put on the picnic table to dry out), played with her shadow and destroyed everyone's sand castles. She was super fun!

Saylor found some goggles lying around so she put them on and tried to scare me.
