I forgot to mention that Saylor's cast came off on Wednesday, by itself. It was MIA for about an hour, I found it in the sleeve of her coat. So it was back to the ER for the third time in 2 weeks where they re-Xrayed her arm and it turns out she is almost healed, so the doctor just put a splint on. She has to wear the splint for another week and then she's all done!

Carter, Saylor, Nick and I were on our way to the mall this morning and we were rear ended at a stop light. We were all fine but the van took one for the family. We can't open the back, our hitch is stuck and our bike rack is bent. Carter was drinking his juice when we were hit and he spilled his drink all over himself, he was a little rattled over that. Saylor slept through the whole ordeal!

Glenayre Easter Egg Hunt
We went to hunt for eggs this morning in Glenayre. Lucas and Carter have done this before but it was Saylor's first time and she did great!
Saylor loved finding the eggs and putting them in her basket, she even found a lucky egg and she won a prize....a little stuffed bunny. She had to give the lady her lucky egg to trade for a prize - she didn't like that so much, she threw the bunny and whined for her egg back. It was pretty funny!

Niki had a sleep over last night so I let them watch "Everyone's Hero" (an animated kids movie about baseball) up in my room. They all had the same soccer shirt on for pj's.

Carter had his Easter party for pre-school on Thursday. They got to make a spring salad, got their faces painted, made bunny ears and had an egg hunt.

H.R MacMillian Space Centre
On Wednesday Lucas' class went on a field trip to the space centre. I got to go as a helper Mom. Our favorite part was definitely the trip to MARS on the virtual machine.

Saylor loves the new couches and the new blanket, she gets herself all snuggled in!!

I took Carter to get his hair cut on the weekend, this is the shortest it has ever been cut and he looks so handsome! I even caught him kissing himself in the mirror, I asked him if it's because he's so ridiculously good looking, he said "yes"!!

On Saturday night I gave the kids a bath and Saylor managed to get her cast wet so I had to take her back to the emergency room to get it cut off and get a new one on. She did great! And the new one is way better!!

Carter had his last soccer game on Saturday and his team had their wrap-up party right after where he got his first trophy!! He's a proud little Crazy Frog!
THE CRAZY FROGS

During the evenings on spring break, Nick and I painted the living room, kitchen and bathroom.
We got our new furniture in and I have to say....there are almost too many places to sit!!
Saylor and Carter snuggle on the new chair.

On Wednesday night, just before bed we were watching TV and Saylor rolled off the couch. She was pretty tired and cried for a few minutes, we gave her some tylenol and put her to bed. She slept through the night and I got up with her in the morning. I noticed she was holding her arm funny and wouldn't even hold her bottle (it was her right arm) so I thought I'd take her in to the emergency room at Eagle Ridge, just to make sure it wasn't anything serious, since we were leaving for Kelowna in a couple hours. I got to the hospital and they took an x-ray, which was NOT very easy and 20 minutes later Saylor was getting a cast. Turns out she broke her wrist, both bones and will have to wear a cast for the next 4-6 weeks. She is a trooper and can still do most things, now she has a weapon on hand at all times, but she's still running and climbing as much as ever!
Our March break was pretty exciting, first we went to West Coast Gymnastics on Monday, then we went swimming on Tuesday and off to the movie on Wednesday.

Saylor liked the trampoline the best!
