Lucas was invited to Luke's birthday party on Friday at Eileen Daily pool, so we thought we'd all join him and go for a swim as well.

Lucas all lathered up with shaving cream?!?!

Nick skipped work on Friday so he could join us at the swimming party. The kids had a great time swimming with Daddy!

International Children's Festival
On Wednesday, Heidi and I took the kids to Vanier Park for the Children's Festival. We spent most of the day playing in the giant sandbox, making crafts, watching performers, and eating some healthy snacks from the Capers display!

Mothers Day 2007
I had a great Mother's Day last weekend. The kids made me breakfast in bed, then they gave me all their gifts. Lucas made me a really cool necklace and a book all about why he likes having me as a MOM. Carter made me a pet rock, it's name is "Lucky". The kids also gave me a shopping trip to the Lululemon warehouse, where I got a hoodie, some sweats and a skull cap.
We went to a movie in the afternoon then headed to the Buteau's for dinner. Pip made us a delicious salmon with all the finxin's!

Lucas turns SEVEN!!
Lucas had his seventh birthday party last weekend, he had a butt load of kids come over for some games and a movie. I had them do a scavenger hunt, bob for apples, a water relay and we ended the games off with some old school fun...red rover!

The Great Salmon Send-Off 2007
Last weekend we joined the Kaisers and Harnisch boys at the great salmon send-off. The kids loved all the booths that had crafts and goodies. They especially enjoyed getting their fish to release into the creek.

Niki and Lucas made bird houses before we released the salmon.

We are inside a giant Salmon tent.

Saylor loved her little fish, she even gave one a kiss good-bye.

Releasing the Coho's into Stoney Creek.
This is the highlight of the entire event!
The kids received certificates that recognize them as adopting these coho's and then setting them free. It came with a handy little keychain! LOL

I got my hair done by Rachael a couple weeks ago. I love, love, love it!!
