Carter's class got to go to the pumpkin patch for their first field trip of the year - they even got to go on a bus!!
Derek and Lisa didn't want Evan ti miss out on going to the pumpkin patch so they dropped him off at our place and he came with us!

The Pumpkin Patch was quite full still because the pumpkins had a late start.
Evan and Saylor picked just the right size, but Carter - was Carter and picked a huge one that he had to carry for the rest of the day.

KINGFISHER WEEKEND
October 24-26th
It was our second annual trip to Courtenay BC to visit the Kingfisher Spa and Resort (quite possibly the best place on Earth). This year there were 16 of us from all parts of BC including, Kelowna, Port Moody, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Vancouver and one Albertan!
This year I added a couple more treatments to my itinerary...a second hydropath is definitely a must, my massage was so good I fell asleep (and I wasn't the only one) and I added a pedicure this year!

Ferry ride over to the Island...Wendy was my car sick passenger.

Friday night we just sat around and visited.
