Our May LOOOOONG Weekend
I accidently blogged our weekend backward, which is a good indicator at how much we did over the 3 days!
Nick was gone all week doing some work in Rochester Minnesota. He got home late Friday (actually early Saturday) and we all missed him and couldn't wait to get the weekend started!
Rocky Point - Old Orchard Park
Lucas got a new pair of roller blades that he was just itching to try out, so we thought the best place to go was the trail between Rocky Point and Old Orchard Park.

Nick thought he'd try out roller blading as well, cause if Lucas can do it...why couldn't he?

Luckily Nick stayed on his feet for the entire trip (although he did remind me of Pheobe and they way her arms were all flaying when she ran).
Jericho Beach
It was so nice out on Sunday we decided to head to the beach. Nick had never been down to Jericho so that's where we went.

Nick and the boys had a blast playing frisbee on the beach!

Meanwhile, Lincoln and Saylor played in the sand and collected shells.

ooohh, look a good one!

After lunch the kids just had to have a Rocket popcicle.

Saylor being a big sister and Lincoln letting her.

Twilight Drive In
On Saturday night we loaded up as many kids as we could and went to the drive in. The first movie was "17 Again", the second movie was "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" I think it goes without saying that we only stayed for the first movie.

here's our crew
Lucas and Daniel

I told these girls to 'smile with their eyes' and this was the best they could do....have you not learnt anything from ANTM??
OK, that's better!
This is as close to the big screen that Natalie's gonna get...LOL.
Carter and Ave
Tina and Lucas
This is the seating arrangement for the movie. Natalie, Hannah, Lisa and I sat outside on the lawn chairs freezing our butts off.

This is where Lisa asked "can we get a 5 minute no talking break"?

Nick all nestled in for the next 2 hours.

Kenn and Tomio showed up to the drive in so we had to take advantage of the photo opp.
