Grade One Field Trip

Dr. Bee's Honey Farm

Carter got to check out a honey farm as part of his field trip last week.

Dr. Bee gave a very interesting presentation on bees and how they make honey and why it hurts when you get stung by a bee.

After the presentation the kids got to go outside and practice the "bee dance".

Jenna was chosen to assist Dr. Bee in the bee cage.

after smoking the bees, Dr. Bee showed us the hive.

The kids all got to make their own bees wax candles.

Lincoln enjoyed the rocks.
